30 TOTAL SPOTS

Collectors will only find one card inside each box of 2025 Topps Archives Signature Series – Active Player Edition.

But, just as the product’s name suggests, that card will have a signature from an active MLB player.

Every card in this product is a specially stamped, hard-signed buyback card from one of 128 players.

The cards, presumably bought back on the secondary market, typically span across the catalog of Topps products (including Bowman and Stadium Club) and have been signed, serial-numbered, encased, and stamped with a Topps Archives Signature Series foil logo.

While Topps does not furnish a list of each individual buyback card that has been signed for this product, the company does guarantee that every card has a production run of /99 or fewer. Topps also stated that players typically sign between 50 and 100 total cards for the set, though collectors should keep in mind that many players sign many different cards, resulting in varying production runs.

That does, however, result in many 1/1s, giving collectors something extra to chase.

Buyback cards range from rookies to base cards to inserts, and the gold foil stamp indicating a card’s inclusion as part of the 2025 Topps Archives Signature Series helps differentiate these cards from examples of the same card that may have been signed in person or through the mail.
