2024 Topps Finest Baseball sticks with the brand long-standing tradition of big and colorful designs done on chrome stock. That said, it’s also undergoing an overhaul with both its hobby box configuration and base set structure.

For the past several years, Finest hobby boxes have come with a pair of six-pack mini boxes. For 2024, boxes have six packs total. However, the total number of cards hasn’t actually changed as the pack size has doubled from five cards to 10. The two autographs per box also remains the same.

2024 Topps Finest Baseball Checklist Overview

The biggest change in 2024 Topps Finest Baseball is the main set. It leaps from 125 cards to 300. In doing so, Topps is adopting a strategy that the line used in the mid-1990s by offering three tiers of rarity. The first 100 cards are “common.” The next 100 are “uncommon,” landing one per pack. “Rare” rounds things out with these landing 1:3 packs or two per box. While the player selection in each level is different, there is some overlap with stars having multiple cards. The structure is very much in line with modern Panini Select releases.
